Uzbekistan Mortgage Refinancing Company (the Company) has launched its 50 billion UZS Green corporate bonds as of September 16, 2024.
These bonds were registered after amendments and additions to the Rules for the issuance of securities and the registration of emission securities were made following the changes that came into effect on June 10, 2024. They are the first official Green corporate bonds to be registered following these amendments, under the National Agency for Prospective Projects.
It is important to highlight that the issuance of Green corporate bonds by the Company is one of the first and significant steps in the development of the green economy in our country.
It is also worth noting that the Company's Green corporate bonds were positively assessed for compliance with the green bond principles of ICMA by the AIFC Green Finance Center and received a certificate of compliance with green standards.
