The Asian Secondary Mortgage Market Association (ASMMA) commenced its activities in Samarkand.

✈️ Today, members of the Asian Secondary Mortgage Market Association (ASMMA) arrived in Samarkand to hold the association’s annual general meeting.

💬 During the event, discussions are scheduled on the development of the regional secondary mortgage market, enhancing the effectiveness of the association’s activities, and setting priority tasks for the coming year.

🎙 The meeting was opened with a keynote speech by Murodjon Farmanov, CEO of the Uzbekistan Mortgage Refinancing Company and ASMMA Chair for 2025.

🤝 The event highlighted the growing collaboration in recent years, the exchange of experiences among participants of the secondary mortgage market, and the importance of regional initiatives.

📝 The agenda included the following items:

• Annual activity report of the ASMMA Secretariat

• Annual activity presentations by ASMMA members

• Approval of the ASMMA Chair candidate for 2026

• Ceremony for signing a cooperation memorandum between the Uzbekistan Mortgage Refinancing Company and the Mongolian Mortgage Corporation

💡 During the event, association members were expected to exchange experiences, discuss prospective joint projects, and share ideas on further integrating the regional market.
