JSC "Uzbekistan Mortgage Refinancing Company" continues its activities.

In the 1st quarter of 2022, mortgage loans allocated by commercial banks will be refinanced in the amount of 42 million US dollars.

The Company is carrying out appropriate work to attract additional funds from international financial organizations, the development of which is expected in the second half of 2022.

Currently, it is planned to attract resources from the Ministry of Finance in the first half of this year.

In accordance with the requirements of the Company, in 2021, mortgage loans in the amount of 1.9 trillion soums were allocated for the purchase of housing on the secondary market, during 2022 it is planned to allocate loans in the amount of 2.0 trillion soums.

In order to sustainably provide resources to commercial banks, within the framework of the Roadmap for the implementation of the Capital Market Development Program in 2021-2022, legal basis for the implementation of securitization and circulation of mortgage bonds.

The company plans to issue mortgage bonds from 2023, which will be used to develop the company's activities.

At the same time, within the framework of the new procedure introduced, the Ministry of Finance regularly allocates resources to commercial banks for the purchase of apartments on the primary market.

Using the resources of the Ministry of Finance, 5.0 trillion soums were allocated in 2021 for the purchase of apartments on the primary market, in 2022 it is planned to allocate 12.8 trillion soums to commercial banks for issuing loans to the population.
