“GREEN AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING” INTERNATIONAL FORUM
On November 27 of this year, the “Uzbekistan Mortgage Refinancing Company” JSC (the Company), in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MEF), the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), will hold the “Green and Affordable Housing” International Forum. The event aims to further develop Uzbekistan’s housing market, introduce “green” mortgage mechanisms, propose innovative solutions for mortgage market financing, and study international best practices. It will bring together prominent representatives of the national and international housing markets as well as international financial institutions.
Within the framework of the Forum:
✅ A platform for exchanging views and opinions will be established with the participation of MEF, the Central Bank, international development finance institutions (World Bank, ADB, EBRD, IFC, FTA, etc.), international investment banks, housing sector stakeholders, leading specialists, and international experts.
✅ Agreements and memorandums will be signed between the Company, MEF, and international financial institutions.
✅ The prospects of the housing and mortgage market within the framework of the “Uzbekistan–2040” Strategy will be discussed.
✅ International practices in housing finance will be reviewed with the participation of leading financing institutions in the Asian secondary mortgage market.
✅ An award ceremony will be held to recognize the most active, creative, and responsible commercial banks of the Republic.
