Treasury Back Office Specialist

Uzbekistan Mortgage Refinancing Company is a non-bank financial organization that provides commercial banks with long-term financial resources for mortgage loans.

Currently, the company cooperates with more than 10 banks in Uzbekistan and, in partnership with ADB (Asian Development Bank) and IFC (International Finance Corporation), has refinanced mortgage funds in the amount of more than $300 million (USD).

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of treasury documentation, contracts and assessment of the creditworthiness of clients based on financial data, credit reports and payment history;
  • Monitor and manage existing treasury accounts and review payment schedules;
  • Maintain open lines of communication with clients regarding the terms of treasury transactions, payment schedules and resolution of treasury-related inquiries and disputes;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date treasury documentation, prepare treasury reports and provide management with regular information on the performance of the treasury portfolio;
  • Ensure compliance with the company's treasury policies, legal requirements and industry regulations, and make recommendations for improvements where necessary.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury, bank accounting or related financial position;
  • Experience in managing treasury affairs and document flow in credit institutions;
  • Experience in working with complex treasury operations and compliance with Central Bank requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field;
  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA, CFA or ACCA) in a relevant field will be an advantage.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with exceptional Excel skills;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess credit risk and make data-driven decisions;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining treasury records and documentation.
